I was also back at the gym after a week and a half of my tummy tuck.  My plastic surgeon said...do what you feel like doing.  I don't think he understood that I often push myself, so when I went back after like a month, he was shocked that I was squatting.  He did have to draw some fluid off my abdomen because the muscles, as they heal, were still kinda bleeding inside.  I didn't know not to do it because he said do what I felt like doing, and he didn't know that what I felt like doing was squats, etc.  We don't know what's going on inside our bodies and remember with all that anesthesia, our abdomen is numb for quite a time.  I had my tummy tuck back in February of 2015 but honestly, parts of my abdomen are still numb.  With that being said, just be careful, but I think as long it wouldn't create bleeding on the inside, and you feel no pain, go for it.

Four weeks after my tummy tuck surgery in Manila, I started going back to the gym. I didn't do some strenuous workouts, just light cardio initially. My good doctor Dr Rino Lorenzo, advised me to begin very slowly before i even build up to my former intensity. I didn't want to compromise my recovery and I wanted to avoid ANY complications so I followed his advice fully. I always listened to my body and seek my doctor's advise when I wanted to upgrade my workout. It was effective for me that way. It really worked out great for me. I love my result!
