Monday is a walk day for me

Tue 60 minute run speed work or tempo

Wed suppose to be a swim but I am working late so I will probably not get it in.

Thursday 75 hilly run

Friday 30 min strength and fitness

Saturday 4 to 5 hour run

Sunday bike ride but not sure if I will get it in.

I hate to say it but I have not been on the bike like I wanted to be. I think part of the problem is I went to the clips and I am nervous with them so I stay off the bike.  I know the more I ride with them the better I will be.

Plus I am doing a palliative case right now and it is taking up a lot of my time. Finding it hard to get everything in that I want to do and have time with husband.

What are clips?

And completely off topic - you say that you're doing a palliative case right now, what is your job?

I call them clips not sure what the name is but you have special shoes for the bike and you clip into your peddle. I know there is another name for them but I don't know it

I am a PSW and I work out in the community. I love doing Palliative care but sometimes it can be heavy duty. Right now the hard part is Co workers who do not do there job and I hear how upset the client and family are and they want me in even more. As it is it takes me over an hour to get home and I am doing 12to 16 hours a week and feeling bad because I am not sure I can take on more hours.

Ah!!  I think I know what you're talking about with clips.

Palliative care is a really amazing service.  I'm sorry your co-workers are dropping the ball!  That's got to be even more challenging in palliative care.  :/  I'm currently working on a Gerontology/Aging Services degree and I'm hoping to become involved in hospice somehow.  Some day.

Good for you. I hope that you get into hospice if that is what you want. It takes special people to do the job right. I feel that it is so important to want to do it and give these people the care that they deserve. Hope your studies go well and keep me posted on how you do

I hate that on the days I wake up exhausted the only way I can get more sleep is by skipping exercise.  The start of this term is really kicking my butt.

Monday - should have been weights, but I slept in an extra half hour.
Tuesday - running and stretching
Wednesday - pilates class
Thursday - running and stretching
Friday - piyo class, tai chi class, pilates class
Saturday - weights or perhaps just stretching and rest because.....
Sunday - RACE DAY!!  I'm doing the Navy Air Force 5-Miler.  I'm a bit worried because I just started running about a two weeks ago and my last race was about 11 months ago and I'm so not prepared for a race, especially a 5 mile one!  But, I know that I can finish the race, walking, within the time limit, so I'm trying not to worry too much.

Boring stuff my way.  I walked 1.7 miles on the treadmill yesterday...Took it easy.  This last week I turned 61...And have mentioned before, I've had 2 heart attacks, so I work out, but never try to push myself to exhaustion.  Today was a good day.  I went to the gym...They have a former basketball court that they do exercise classes and yoga in.  Nothing was going on, so I walked and brought my basketball.  Walked and ran up and down the court...Pushed myself pretty good.  Twice I grabbed weights...3# and 5#s.  Walked and used the weights...Different movements.  Tomorrow I see the doctor...Get the results of my labs.  I hope to mow my daughter's front and back lawns Tuesday too...Cleaner air tomorrow.  The rest of the week...I'll be at the gym if and when I exercise.  The air is still not that great.  Brian
