I'm a half marathoner at heart but have been doing CrossFit the last few months and love it! Great way to chase away the short daylight hours and darkness until I can either get a treadmill or get back in to distance running. Cheees fellow runner!

Last week went pretty much as planned although I didn't get out for a walk over the weekend, so it was more yoga. I did ALL my fitness classes. All five of them! Zen-ga ended up being a myofascial release class primarily. Seems interesting.

Monday: yoga at home
Tuesday: walking and yoga stretching
Wednesday: pilates class, yoga class
Thursday: walking and yoga stretching
Friday: zen-ga class, tai chi class, pilates class
Saturday: walking and yoga stretching (hope to check out the "local" parkrun)
Sunday: yoga at home

It was enjoyable, but pricey because I got home and bought a lot of "toys" so I could do the fascia release stuff at home too :P

Well, tournament on Saturday was a bust - I was the only one registered for my event. All for the best, because I had to be home for the refrigerator repairman.

Sunday - yoga 90 minutes

Monday - Fencing 3 hours

Tuesday - not sure what's going to happen today - I'm in the office because yesterday was a holiday

Wednesday - fencing 2 hours

Thursday - Something -

Friday - Pilates and lifting

Saturday - lots of walking

Sunday - lots of walking

Taking my younger daughter to NYC for her 15th birthday to see Hello, Dolly! and Dear Evan Hansen. We're taking the train, so there will be lots of walking through NYC both days. Have a great week everyone.

Enjoy your trip to NYC. One day I will get there but I will have to first get a passport. I have always wanted to go there at Christmas time

Thanks. I grew up about 12 miles outside Manhattan in northern NJ. I spent quite a bit of time in the City as a teen and young adult. From Philly, where I live now, it's about a 1.5 hour train ride. Christmastime in NY is magical. The musts include window shopping all the holiday displays at the big department stores, the tree at Rockefeller Center (and skating at the rink there), the show at Radio City with the Rockettes (my ex-MIL was a Rockette in the late 50s), and then you have time to do all the "tourist" stuff - Empire State, Statue of Liberty, and a ton of cultural and other attractions. She's looking forward to the trip. And I am, too.

Keep on losing!

It sounds so wonderful. One day I will make it there. Where I live when I was growing up all the stores would decorate and be so beautiful and now nothing. It is sad.
