I'm sorry you were unwell last week! I hope this week is better for you. I was also sick last week and between that and the WINDPOCALYPSE, I wasn't able to get to fitness classes. Bah! But I'm now doing physical therapy FOUR TIMES A WEEK for my shoulder and feet... so that's "fun."

Monday: shoulder PT, home exercises, yoga
Tuesday: foot PT, home exercises, walk
Wednesday: pilates class, yoga class, shoulder PT, home exercises
Thursday: foot PT, home exercises, walk
Friday: zenga class, tai chi class, pilates class, walking around DC, home exercises
Saturday: holy crap, I've got a 5k race. I'm going to walk the entire thing though. I had been registered for the half marathon, but had to change due to lack of training and pain. yoga, home exercises
Sunday: home exercises, yoga

Hope you are feeling better. My stomach is still giving me issues. Sorry to hear about your race but walking it will better than nothing. Hope you have good weather for it. Let me know how it goes

Thanks!

Sadly, my physical therapist told me, in slightly different words, that I'd be a stupid idiot for even walking the race this weekend. So... BAH HUMBUG.

Black Canyon 100k was a wreck. Had to drop at mile 38 due to bad IT band pain. Took me 6 hours to do the first 50k, and then the pain happened. Took 2 hours to crawl the next 10k to the aid station. Super sucky since I'm basically in the best shape on my life. Hit rehab real hard and decided to try a local 50k this past weekend. Set a new 50k PR and a course PR. Finished in 16th at 5:53. And best of all, no pain. Running is weird. Anyway, time to get back at it. There is no post race, only pre race.

Monday-walk commute, 3 mile run, gym

Tuesday-walk commute, 3 mile run, gym

Wednesday-4 mile run

Thursday-4 mile run

Friday-gym

Saturday-10 mile run

Sunday-rest, and catch up on yard work.

Wow - lots of rough weeks out there. I'm almost feeling guilty to say I'm on vacation with my college freshman in Florida for Spring break this week. (Got out of Philly before the wind and snow on Friday and missing the mess that's going to hit tonight through tomorrow.)

Sunday - 5 mile walk through a really cool flea market

Monday - 2 hours at the gym (no fencing on vacation)

Tuesday - Walking at the beach this afternoon

Wednesday - Pilates 1 hour and some weights at the gym

Thursday - Stand up Paddleboarding and walking

Friday - Walking in Miami

Saturday - cleaning the condo and flying home so not much "exercise" except for making the place spotless for my sister when she comes down next.

Hope everyone has a great week and survives the next blast of winter headed through most of the US.

Keep on losing!
