Fitness equipment for 400lb people?

I am currently looking into buying an elliptical and possibly a treadmill for my home to jump start my weight loss process before WLS. I have about 8 months or so before I am out of the pre-existing condition clause for my insurance and can finally try to get WLS approved. I really don't want to waste anytime and know that recovery after surgery will be even faster if I'm in better shape. I'm just curious....does anyone know of a good elliptical or treadmill for people about 390-400 lbs. I keep seeing weight limits of 300 lbs on most of the equipment.
