Congratulations on sticking to your exercise program for so long.  I hope I do the same.  I really enjoy going to the gym and just sweating knowing that all that sweat is fat burning away.

I want to wait about a month or so or maybe even after I have my surgery to weight train, for now I really enjoy the cardio and I feel it is slowly working for me.  I weight myself this morning and I have dropped 6lbs. in 4 day.  But then again I am also on a DR. ordered 1000 calorie a day.
Thanks so much for your support.

    Thank you.
I have been working out for about 4 months now. I was doing 7 miles on the elliptical in 60 minutes, burning about 500 calories. Then I started focusing on the calories. Now I try burning 700-800 calories in one hour. All this is a bit confusing but all is working out. I haven't started weight training yet.
    Thanks for your help.

I am just wondering, when you exercise do you focus on the miles you get in or the calories that you burn?  I am trying to lose weight.
    Thanks
