Topic: RE: Fobi pouch after previous RNY
Are you having a revision done? I am pretty sure that they can do this if you have to go back into surgery. My doctor (Roc Bauman) did mine and he does revisions. It is a little harder getting used to eating then from the regular RNY from what I was told. I am only 7 months out of surgery and still can only eats small portions at a time and the silastic ring helps you from gaining the weight back and from having to eventually get a revision. My doctor is wonderful and he will tell you straight up anything that you want to know without beating around the bush like a lot of doctors that I know.

Yes try a different exercise like Zumba. Your body gets used to doing things and expects it so when you do something different it doesn't know what is going on and it reacts to it by losing weight. Sometimes it might take a month but just change up your routine and count those calories and you will be fine.

Topic: RE: Knot in upper stomach????
I had my three month check up and my doctor told me that it was my xphoid process which is the bottom of my sternum. He said most people do not notice it unless they lose a lot of weight in a short peroid of time. I see him about 2 weeks ago. I am now having sharp pain in my breast which actually start underneath my arm pit (maybe a lymph node) when I bend over and it is like a sharp burning pain. My regular doctor told me she thinks it is because I was really top heavy in my breast and I have lost over 4 inches and they are pulling down when I take my bra off and told me to sleep in a sports bra for awhile. It has been about 2 weeks now and it is still doing it.

Topic: RE: Knot in upper stomach????
Not sure if this is a concern or not or if this is normal but I am 3 months out from having the gastric bypass with the Fobi ring and noticed that I have a knot in my upper stomach directly between and below my breast bones. It is almost like it would be where my stomach begins. It is a little tender but also it is more noticable to touch if laying flat on my back. Did anyone have this or maybe it could be a hernia or scar tissue. I still have trouble with not being able to eat much or drink much at all. I have my 3 month post op check up on Thursday. Any thoughts?

Topic: RE: working out
My doctor just gave me the ok to work out but to take it easy with the ab exercises since I am only 7 weeks out. He said the best exercise is walking or water aeorobics since we will be losing faster then we can tone or stengthen up our muscles for now. Hope this helps!

Topic: RE: question for Fobi pouches
I had my surgery on 03/15/12 and I am starting to get where everything I eat is making me sick. I have not thrown up but twice but everytime I eat my stomach cramps like it feels like I have not have food in days (that is the only way I can describe it). I can only get between 8-20 ounces of drink down a day and still on soft foods because last week was the week to start fish and it seems that everything I eat solid makes me cramp as soon as it goes down. I am chewing my food like mush so I don't understand.  Any suggestions????

I am miserable and need advice!!
