Well surgery is back on......talj about a roller coaster ride of emotions!!! To add to all this my computer died. Thank god I have a tablet.

Well.....been a week from hell. First I become ill on Monday......in the hospital Tuesday night and in the ICU in a matter of hours. Spent 2 days in ICU, then into a reg room. All this time being pumped full of fluids and antibiotics. Now that I am home, i wanted to see how bad it was......when I got to the hospital i was 298 and now i am 332.....sighs. And those readings are on my scale. To add to all this, my surgery day is now being put off till who knows when. I had pneumonia and was septic.
P.S. can anyone tell me how to change my surgery date ?

For me its been a roller coaster. My Gf of 6 months left me cause of my surgery. She texted me saying that I was starting to take my life into my own hands and she didnt like it. I cried for awhile and posted on the VSG fourm (before i found this fourm) and was told I already started to lose weight....dead weight ! My challenage right now is getting thru this 15 days of clear liquid only diet. Today is day one and I already am hungry and getting a head ache from no carbs.

Yes they do. I also have Mercy Care Advantage since I have medicare also. Mercy Care is my secondary insurance.

My surgeon and his office is great. We have a NUT and anyone else you would need. Support group and you can email or call for any and all questions. Bad thing is we're in the East Vally. The office is at 60 and Higley.

I hope things work out for You.....my friend of 6 months texted me a few days ago and ended it. Said I was gonna lose to much weight and gain control of my life in a way that was not liked. Some one posted to me on the VSG board that it was a good thing I got rid of "dead weight".
