After  7 months of pcp visits, testing evaluations and appointments. my paperwork was submitted 7  days ago.    God the waiting is like a slow torture.. Don't know what I'll do if it's denied.. I have suffered for 45 years of being overweight.  I think I deserve a break now........G. S   Worried in Michigan.

Are you still waiting? My paperwork was sent to Blue Care Network on 4/19/12 and I am wondering how quickly it will come back?

 No,  It took 19 days for bcn to approve but I have my date of may 8th... I called everyday.. Don;t think it changees anything....Have faith I know I drove myself crazy with worry.   

So glad you are no longer waiting but looking forward to the next step in your journey... I will try to be patient, I know my approval will come eventually...did your Dr. call to let you know or did BCN call you directly? I thank you for being so quick to answer my questions. I am a 59 year old grandma who has been married 40 years to my high school sweetheart..looking forward to feeling young again !

 I called bcn myself although they called my surgeons office the same day.   I'm a 55 y/o grandpa myself...... GS

I recieved my phone call from Dr. Robert's office this afternoon.  I have been approved for my gastric bypass.  I will go in on Monday to set everything up....very excited...but a little scared too!

 Congrats, my surgery is coming fast on may 8.  so I'm really exicited and nervous !!
