Heck no. I haven't started exercising at all yet -- nurse told me that's part of the deal so I'd best be getting my butt in gear eh? Do I drink 1.5 - 2L of water every day? I am close most days but no, I know I don't get enough water into me.
Having said the above, I know my replies may sometimes indicate that I am "perfect". No one is perfect - it's overrated :) But I will tell you this -- I'm not effing around when it comes to the post-op diet. I followed my 2 weeks full-liquids and I'm finishing my 2 weeks of mushies now. For me personally, I am not "trying" anything that isn't on the diet. I try not to judge others who DO, but I just don't get it. I can't relate :) I'm not saying this to be mean -- I just think for me personally, if I can't stick to a post-op diet, that my chances for success are slimmer. Again, this is how Krista feels for Krista. You can feel differently ~ that's ok :)
If I tried something and it went down ok, I know myself. I would say "Well, that worked ok - I should try ____". Then it's just one thing leading to another and I'll be sliding down that slippery slope right back where I started.
I'm worth the effort. Sure it takes committment, especially in the beginning, but I am worth it.
And so are YOU.
