For the ladies...cycle change post-op?

A little over 4 weeks post op.  I am usually such a stickler about keeping records of the first day of my last period.  I guess it's because I know we'll be conceiving again.  Well, looking at these records I realized that I was due for TOM this past Monday or Tuesday.  Still nothing yet.  I've taken 2 pregnancy tests, just in case.  Negative.  :)

Did this happen to anyone else?  I'm guessing the change in diet and weight loss are to blame.  I feel like it'll arrive "any second' but I've felt like that for the last couple days!

after surgery i got my period later and later and later and later......lolol. i was like wtf is goin on i am too a stickler i have this period tracker app on my phone and i freaked out too...any minute turned into any day now and sure enough it happens....if you have sex i find it does speed up the process....sorry tmi but im trying to help lol.
physical and emotional stress can change your cycle so can hormone changes.  the surgery itself is a big physical stress and obviously the process is emotional stress.  as you loose weight your hormones can fluctuate because of hormones that were stored in the fat that is breaking down and releasing in your body.  so it is not uncommon for this all to have caused your tom to be late.

I missed the period right after surgery, then it resumed normally.
My TOM was crazy for a while after surgery, it was late, early, heavy, light. It was a pain. It did finally resume back to normal. I hope yours does soon. Good luck on your new WL journey!!
Mari  Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels!
Mine got out of wack for a bit. No period for a month then a period for a WHOLE freaking month (heavy) It was horrible. but after that everything sync up again.

My surgeon actually addressed this before surgery... he told me that many people have delayed return to their cycle after being put under. He said not to be surprised if my next period was late or if I even skipped a month.

On that note, mine is currently 3 days late.

Mine has been all over the place since surgery...trauma to the body, hormones gone wild, etc... Surgery is hard on all the systems.

I officially do not need to invest in any pregancy tests. TOM finally arrived...sorry, TMI, just thought I'd update.
