I feel your pain  One of the hardest parts of the journey thus far, for me, was the 3 weeks post-op.

No food.  Only liquids.  The first week was easy.  My stomach was swollen so I didn't have an appetite. The 2nd week I started getting hungry, but could satisfy it with the protein shakes.  The 3rd week, I was DREAMING about food!

Its not natural to not eat.  It just isn't!

Just keep your eye on the prize!  You can do it!

How is the pain? Is it subsiding?

Hang in there!  You're almost over the hump. It days 9+ were hard because I started getting hungry. I called the doctor's office to see if I could have applesauce...something. No was the response. But she did tell me to try tomato soup which was great. I was also able to add a bit of bananna and ice to a protein shake, blend it and that made all the difference. You're almost there!

thank you all for responding........i sure was having a pity party,,,,,am feeling better

((((thank you)))))  your all angels

i have come this far.........whats a couple more weeks......i am almost there..

You know... I remember feeling the EXACT same way! I remember crying - thinking am I ever going to eat again? What have I done to myself. My life is OVER, but it's SOOOO worth it! I promise! Stay strong.... YOU CAN AND WILL get through this! I am only 4 months post op and I feel better than I ever have! YOU GOT THIS!
