Weight Loss Surgery Directory

Just want to introduce myself

My name is Lillian, I am 31 yrs old, married to the love of my life. We have 5 children. I am in the process of completing my requirements for surgery. I have met the 3mo weight management, now I am waiting to go to my seminar on Thursday June 28th. I will be meeting with my surgeon in a week or two to start my other appts. Among them is cardiologist, nutritionist and psych evauluation.. He will determine id I need any more before surgery. Praying that since I don;t have heart problems, diabetes, or high blood pressure that I will move along quickly. Looking to meet new friends and learn about the new life I have chosen.. Thanks and nice to meet you all..

Welcome! You will get a lot of support here. Don't be afraid to ask questions. There is good and bad with every surgery, so learn from it all.

I am almost five months out and as happy as can be. It is a big change, but once you get into it, it gets better. Stay positive and focused!

Good luck!

 HI, Lillian!

Banded since 2003, maintaining my weight loss and still knowing I made the right choice for me. If you want information on what life is like for a band success, have questions or need help and suggestions on band life, feel free to message me. Otherwise, just read the Lapband Forum.

Hi Lillian! I'm Karen. I'm 14 months post-op. The advice from a previous poster about going through the forum and reading old posts was good advice. If you have time (I know I don't have much with 3 kids let alone 5. lol) sit and read through the forum's old posts. They are a wealth of information. Welcome aboard!!
