ONEderLAND!!!!!

I am thrilled to announce that I've finally reached and stayed at 197 for a week now so I'm calling it official!!!!  I started this journey at 315lbs.  Got my lap band in May of 2010.  It was a long, slow, process.  It took me 8 months before I felt that I had any restriction - and then, of course, it took some adjusting to reach the right level of fill.  Even now - i have days when I can eat pretty freely and days where I'm nearly stuck on a very small amount of food.  I have to watch my liquid calories like crazy (oh wine why do i love you so much?!).  I work out 5-6 days per week doing 35 - 45 minutes on the Elliptical and strength training.  It's been a challenge, it's been frustrating, it's been depressing at times (it would be really nice to feel like I could eat normally), but I wouldn't change it for the world.  I'm a new person - a new woman, a new wife, a new mother.  I'm a better person for having finally regained some control over my life.  Good luck to all of you in your journey.

Peace,

Kelly
