I was so dead set against bypass , especially when my twin daughters had it 6 years ago....boy was that a big family fight even though they were 30 at the time. I did not help or support them at all , and now I am having to "eat" my words !! and feelings.
I am very happy , so far , with the bypass , my BMI was 37 at surgery and I am loosing slowly , and can barely tell I even had surgery, I am back to feeling normal when I eat, except I can't eat much....like I said , so far so good , the vitamins are a challenge

We all want the same thing, to be happy and live in a lower weight body and be healthy.
When I think of all the money and EMOTIONAL energy I have spent over the last 40 years to loose weight ,tens of thousands of dollars , I wish I had done this in my 30's instead of at almost 60 !!!! head slap :(
P.S....did you meet your hubby online???? just had to ask
