I try to stay about 1200-1400 cal per day. I work out 4-5 times a week including strength training. I am around goal. Not really sure how much more i want to lose though. I am fairly happy where I am now. Anyway, I guess that question depends on what your weight loss goals are. I have read you should NEVER go below 1200 because your body/organs/brain need a certain number of calories just to function (its called the basic metabolic rate, you can google it). Also, if you go too low then your body can go into "starvation mode" and actually shut your metabolism down. I have been very successful (112 pounds lost to date) with staying above the 1200 cal/day mark.
