left lower back hip pain? Banded 2 years ago

Hi, for a couple weeks I have had a lower left back hip sore pain, can this be from the band?  No other pain, no vomiting, no nausea just a soreness.

Probably not, but I'm not a doctor. Lower back pain can be from the  kidney? hip pain or soreness can be related to the hip joint? I recently experienced a bout of diverticulitis that last 2 days where I was in extreme stabbing  pain( I have high pain threshold) It was in the lower left pelvic region, the entire pelvis felt heavy and was sporadic after that for weeks. I didn't have a fever or vomiting or diarrhea that others experience with diverticulitis ( were all different) If your still having discomfort I'd call your Internist. I had the same symptoms 3 days ago saw my doc today and he said it is sciatica nerve pain Mine symptoms was a pain in my lower left back that went to my butt and Hip and down the back of my leg . if your unsure what it is go to a doctor to get checked out.
