My PCP perscribed this loop diuretic and levothyroxine, a hypometoblic agent over a year ago.  My surgurn has me on prevacid as many of us are.  Observation.  I have the rosiest checks south of the north pole. I look like I've been on a 2 week drunk.
My dermatologist has declared three facial areas as rosacea targets and has perscribed a topical.
The warning side affects of the diuretic is sun exposeure  producing red blotches.
At first I thought it was an alcohol sun diuretic combination.  But I dont drink like the pre WLS period and I do get sun exposure.
Have any of you guys experienced  color changes,  blotching or skin changes?

I may stop the diuretic for a month and see what happens

I did some research on the web, and it looks like the blotches that diurectics can cause are from vasculitis.  The pictures on the web of vasculitis look nothing like rosy cheeks. They look like herpes all over :)
