I don't think a bike will be my first choice. I will be sitting on my butt for up to 11 to 14 hours a day and I don't think I will want to get on a bike (on my butt again) to get in some exercise. However, it might be a better alternative to walking laps around a truck stop parking lot with all the diesel fumes among other things. We'll have to wait and see.
I will be planning my meals for sure! I will have a small fridge or cooler in the truck and I'll have it stuffed with stuff that I can eat that is far better and far cheaper than the truck stop food. I will also need some snack foods to occupy me while driving. Jerkey, string cheese, almonds, apples, grapes, etc... In the past I would have been worried about getting cafine to help with getting sleepy but because I haven't had any in over 4 months I don't need it now.
Anyway, I start class for my CDL on Aug. 15th and it's 8 weeks long and then it's "ON THE ROAD"!
Thanks for the support!!!
