Slow Or Extended Release Medications?

Several recent posts have mentioned that you shouldn't use slow or extended release medications if you have had RNY.  Does this apply if you have a Vertical Sleeve?  Also, does this apply to all medications or just depression/add meds?  Thank you!

Hi I know this is an old post but I think it is a really interesting question. Perhaps it could be asked under General Discussion forum instead (a wider group)? Or did you get any answers you could share?

VSG on 08/11/08 with

extended release is still good with VSG because you still have your pyloric sphincter and your full small intestines.
