I see that almost everyone that has WLS in Mecxico has the sleeve, are there any that had the RNY and what doctors actually do it?  How was the experience.  So far, I have only heard of Dr. Garcia who actually does the RNY, any others?  Thank you, any input helps!!

I went to Dr. Joya in 2005. I had lap RNY. It was an awesome experience. Absolutely NO complaints. I'll tell you anything you want to know. Just ask!

How much was the surgery and how can I contact him?

It was $12,000 when I went in 2005. That was for the plane flight there and back, the surgery, hospital stay, then several nights at a resort hotel after leaving the hospital.

If you look at the "find a surgeon" tab in the to right of this page, you can search Mexico and reach Dr's there. I was able to find several that do rny, as I had the same question as you. Dr Joya, as the nice lady said above, I have heard all good things about. He currently offering rny for $9000, without airfare, but that does include everything else, including a stay in a beautiful resort in Puerto Vallerta overlooking the ocean. But I see you live in CA, it would be much less expensive, for you to fund a qualified surgeon in Tijuana. Dr. Ramos Kelly is who I am looking at now
