For any body that had surgery in Mexico, can somebody give me ant tips about traveling. Do I need to bring any money extra for tipping the transportation. Or if I decide that after my surgery that I want to go around to the mall will that be a extra charge for me. Because I'm not one to just to lay around, I like to explore around and see what is new. so if any body could help me with that I would appreciate a million.

My husband had surgery in Puerto Vallarta. We are Canadian. The taxi's we paid for - we paid for in Mexican Pesos. But - we took about 50$ in US 1 dolllar bills - and any tips - be it at the hotel, or taxi, or anywhere else - we used the US 1 dollar bills. Someone had told us that before we went. And it was a great tip - no pun intended. Good luck to you!
