I am researching doctors in Mexico and someone suggested this forum to me.

Has anyone used Dr. Pasten?

I have never heard of him after 9 years on the boards.

After three wls .using three different surgeons, they only group I recommend is Mexicali Bariatrics. Good luck.

Thanks. I was looking at them, although they cost more.

You get what you pay for. I had MGB surgery in Tijuana and now need to be revised to RNY due to bile reflux. In retrospect, I wish my original bariatric surgery had been performed by Mexicali Bariatric Center; they're top notch. My revision surgery will most likely be performed in the U.S. because my insurance may cover it and yet they didn't cover my original surgery; go figure. But if there are any final insurance coverage hiccups I will go to MBC for revision surgery.

I too am researching and reviewing doctors in MX. I have narrowed it down to BeLiteWeight with Dr.

Rodriguez Villarreal

Anyone have experience with this one?? I was sent an actual patient referral list who went thru procedures with this doctor. The patient coordinator has been super supportive, informative and extremely responsive (thus far). Yet, I am nervous.
