I never thought I'd be excited to lose .4, but I totally am!  Last week I was at 284.8 and this week I was at 284.4.  I exercised twice this week and worked extra long, extra active hours at work.  I finally feel like my head is in the right place.  I told myself before I weighed that whether it was up or down, I was proud of myself b/c I did very little overeating and very little obsessive thinking about food.  I'm just letting it go.  Now, I feel like this is what life is supposed to be.  Eat b/c my body is hungry - not b/c my "diet" calls for it or b/c my emotions call for it.  I couldn't be more thrilled with .4!

.4 pounds is a loss, so that's a definite plus!  I weigh myself once a month, and if there's any loss at all, even just 1/2 pound, I consider that a good thing.  I lost 3.5 pounds last month, so I'm on top of the world!  I have one suggestion - take your weight loss ten pounds at a time, instead of looking at the large total amount you have to lose.  I have around 160 to lose, but I take it ten pounds at a time, so it doesn't overwhelm me.  Otherwise, you're doing great!

Thanks everyone!

Kitties - Thanks - I did make a 1st goal that was 5 pds and a 2nd goal of 5 more pounds - so I'm sorta doing that but it just makes me feel great knowing that I started with 130 to lose and now it's 124 to lose!  I'm finally in this for the long haul and I am just so darn thrilled at every little tenth of a pound that I take off.
