Hi everyone. Today is three weeks since my surgery, I will be starting week four diet tomorrow and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to what I should eat. I don't know what vegetables to incorporate. Should I have any meats or fish yet? (pureed that is) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Every surgeon has a different diet progression post-op. Could you tell us what your plan calls for so that we can give you suggestions that work within it?

It's says soft cheeses, cottage cheese, ricotta. I havent had anything puréed yet. I was wondering if there are any puréed meats I can have? They mentioned soft protein. Could I have chili? Ground meats? What has everyone else done?

If all it says you can have is soft cheeses, cottage cheese, and ricotta, then that's what I'd be having.  I'd call your surgeon's office for more clarification, since that seems fairly limited.

Hi! I am in a 4-th week post-up, the only thing I can eat with no problems at all is boiling eggs ( soft yolk-boil for 6 min.), only 1 medium egg/ meal, wait 1/2 hour then drink water. I eat soft fruit, not purée , persimmon , grapes with no seeds , soft pears (1/2 of medium pear with no seeds and no skin), 1/4 medium banana , that's this so far. Don't force your stomach to eat really solid food , you just hade surgery, need time to recovery! Good luck to you and don't forget, we hade this surgery to keep us away from food!

Yeah, I'm using Vida. It's new and a little buggy but I like it so far.
