Any vegetarians or organic clean eaters here?

Just wondering. I still do vitamins but have gone down a slightly different path. I do eat fish occasionally. But basically do organic and healthy and not much dairy (man did I used to do dairy!).

Anyone else out there?

I'm a vegetarian that eats fish. I've eaten this way for about five years now.  I am 8 years post op.  I have found some plant based protein shakes that I like, but I'm interested in how you maintain a clean diet, weight loss, being satisfied.

Nicole, I don't do shakes much. I do make some bars that have mostly nuts. I don't try to eat grains much but still have popcorn and organic chips at times. No problem staying satisfied, but working on keeping my weight down but haven't been exercising really and I still think that is important. Will be 7 years out in April I just find it is hard to find mu*****ommon with most WLS since they are all eating processed food with some type of protein shakes added. I did get a green shake mix...but it smells funky to me! May try it yet, but don't believe that at this point we need all the protein they originally said we do. I do have great absortion of vit D and B 12 when I get tested.

Oh, I had GB.

I like to eat clean, organic and whole foods v processed sugar free, fat free junk. My nut doesn't agree bc my calories are higher using real butter or ghee v a low fat spread but I can't comprise on this stuff. If I do dairy is usually whole milk grass fed yogurt.. again higher in fat content. My downfall is sweets and doing the all natural theres too much sugar v splenda... It aint easy!

I'm stuck now with what do I eat of stuff I love while staying on plan? Not into fish or chicken but love a grass fed steak or farm fresh pork chop!
