I couldnt figure out where to find a forum for this. I had made my goal 1 yr post op and was doing great but then one thing and anohter happened and made some really bad choices and became an alcoholic. I eventually gained all my weight back. I am no longer drinking, but really want to loose this weight again.

That being said I know there used to be information on how to restart your pouch. I was thinking start back on isopure to shed some pounds fast and go from there. I do not have health insurance so seeing a physician is out of the question right now. Please someone send me in right direction to find information.

Good Morning -

At this point I would try to go back to the basics and focus on protein, water and exercise.  I'm sure being 3 years out you will find this to be somewhat challenging, but it can be done.  From my research because we do have such a small tummy our tummy's can survive and will sustain small amounts of calories.  I personally wouldn't focus of counting calories, I would just focus on protein, water and exercise.

Good luck to you.  I've been trying to get back to the basics for quite sometime now and during this time of the year makes is especially easy.

Congratulations on stopping drinking! Thats an accomplishment to be proud of.

Could you get an appointment with the dietian that followed you before and after your surgery? She would be able to help you get back on track.

in the mean time, don't be so hard on yourself. Take pride in your sobriety and be excited that you now have the mind frame to get back on track.

good luck😃
