Measuring food

I'm three weeks almost 4 post surgery. I'm either confused or I just forget, but at this stage what are the measurements in food I'm i looking for. All I have in my head is 1/4 to 1 cup but is that daily intake or by meal.

Please, any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have paperwork with this information on it? (I have a packet with all this sort of stuff.) If you don't, I recommend calling your surgeon's office since all recovery plans are different.

At that stage for me was 1/4 cup per meal. Think 1 hard boiled egg size.
