Hello All,

What has been your experience with Protein Shakes? Is there a brand that you like more than another?

Thanks

I really like Optimum Nutrition Double Rich Chocolate.  I mix it in a blender bottle using unsweetened original almond milk.  I've been having 1-5 a day since January (depending on the stage of my diet) and still enjoy them :)

Awesome!! I'm looking for a really good products that taste good and will help me while I'm in pre-op and when I'm in post-op. My dietitian has given me pointers on where to look for really great products but there are so many and I figure that there's a group of people out here that will know what the good products are where I should start etc.

I recommend checking out Nashua Nutrition.  You can order sample packets of a ton of different shakes.  Much cheaper than buying a whole tub of powder!

My Hubby and I really like Premier Protein ( they sell it at Costco or Sam's Club) I prefer the Vanilla It's really YUMMY!! My hubby prefers the Chocolate. it is 11oz and has 30 gram of protein. I like that they are ready to drink so there isn't any foam and it doesn't smell horrible like other ones we've tried.

These are what I've recently switched to.  I was doing Syntrax Nectars, but I just couldn't stand the smell anymore.  It costs a little more for premade shakes, but I really enjoy the Strawberries and Cream Premier Protein shakes.

They had it at our local Sams Club (Flint, MI).  I like it the best out of the three.
