Beans & Nuts?

Hi,

I'm 9 days post-VSG.  I'm going to start pureed foods on Monday and have been looking at recipes for things I can puree.  My surgeon/his nutritionist very clearly recommend against seeds and pnuts, but say nothing about other nuts.  Can we eat those?

Also, it seems like he's not a fan of beans (chickpeas, pinto beans, etc) because of carbs.  His nutritionist quit and he hasn't found another one - so I'm looking for guidance on this topic from the pros on this board.  It seems like beans are the perfect pureed food.

Gwen, your list of pureed foods sounds great - can't wait to try some of these.  But confused about beans...

Appreciate any guidance!  Thank you!!

I do notice that beans will give me gas and, if I eat too many, constipation.
