Question about protein brands

I found these great fruit smoothie recipes using vanilla protein powder. I'm thinking these would be perfect in the mornings since I have a hard time eating in the mornings.

My friend told me to get Isolate Whey Protein Powder. I'm just not sure what brands are better or where to get them. I found some at Walmart, but I didn't feel like they had a quality product. Not that I could tell. I just want to be sure before I spend that much money on something I can't use.

Thanks

It's a matter of reading the ingredients - if the first ingredient is whey protein isolate, you're likely good to go.  I prefer Optimum Nutrition brand.

I simply LOVE the Unjury brand of protein.  I'm almost 2 years post surgery, and I still order Unjury.  There's no aftertaste; just deliciousness.  And it's HIGH quality protein.  My elderly mother also uses it now, and it's doing wonders for her.  They have vanilla, strawberry sorbet (which I put into Sobe water), 2 kinds of chocolate, and chicken soup.  The chicken soup tastes like instant chicken noodle soup--but there are no noodles in it.  There is an aftertaste with that particular flavor, but I just drink a sip of the strawberry sorbet mixed in with my SOBE water.  I can also tell you that I've lost a total of 121 pounds and nobody in the medical field believes I lost weight from the surgery because my skin looks so good.  I can only attribute that to the protein.  By the way, I'm 51 years old.  Everyone thinks I'm only in my late 30's.
