What were you eating Post Op (VSG) at 3 weeks / 4 weeks and beyond?

I have found that this  "allowable" progression varies greatly from surgeon to surgeon.

I read an old post from someone that was having pureed Tuna 3 days post op, and others who are still on liquids only for 4 weeks plus.

Just curious...what were you able to eat 3-4 weeks out an beyond?

As for me, I am 3 weeks out, and still on liquids only + 3 oz daily of either low fat small curd cottage cheese or yogurt once a day.  I would love to have about 1/2 cup of refried beans or avocado or pureed Tuna about now, but trying to stay the course.

I was on full liquids for 2 weeks, pureed foods for 2 weeks, and then soft solids for 2 weeks.

Thanks Gwen.  What were some of your favs during the pureed stage?

I think I may get the "go ahead" for that later this week at 3.5 weeks.   Seems strange to me, but I am not really craving anything "bad" (Cheeseburgers, Pizza, Pasta, etc.) right now.    What I am really wanting at this point is something like Tuna or Chicken Salad (which I am hoping to soon have in pureed stage), and the ultimate would be a mixed salad or sushi, but I know that is still a long way ahead.   Think I must be missing something with moist texture the most.  All of this dry chalky protein powder and liquids are beginning to wear thin !

Here are the things that I pureed -- https://www.myvsg.net/2-uncategorised/142-pureed-food-i-ate

Can you find a different protein powder?  I've got to admit, that my shake has never tasted dry or chalky to me!  I use optimum nutrition double rich chocolate protein powder in unsweetened almond milk.  Same shake I've been using for.. um.. 19 months now?
