Hi,

I've tried both myfitnesspal and ww apps and I'm not sure if either are helping. I'm almost 10 yrs out and still would like to lose the last 30 pounds. Anyone have any success with either or both apps? If so, please let me know how you set your macros and if it helped you to lose. TYIA

I am assuming you know how to eat healthy if you are 10 years out.  You should tract your food when you are trying to lose weight, but maybe you need the "official weigh in".  One group that is much less expensive than WW is TOPS, Take off Pounds Sensibly. The fees used to be $26 annually, and you choose your own diet program. You don't have to tell people about WLS.  Just have a goal weight and they will weigh you each week.

Rather than spending money on an "official weigh in" why not ask a family member, friend, neighbor come to your house on a predetermined basis and step on the scale in front of them.  They can be your cheerleading team and doesn't cost anything.
