Calories before surgery

Hi all, 

I have just started this process...I have done my info session last week and I have my first appt with social worker booked for June 15th...I am just looking to get ready start dieting...I have stopped pop and junk food but not sure on how much i should be eating a day/meal. 

 

I am 5 foot 4, 265, 36 years old....can anyone give me some advice?

I suggest starting at 1800 until you get used to it, and then adjust down 100 calories at a time. Before surgery, I was able to loose slowly at less than 1600 calories per day.

You could start using an app like MyFitnessPal to help you track.  It will help you set a calorie goal, and you can easily adjust it.
