“I've never really liked the taste of CL mixes, but pre-op I drank Diet Coke all the time. Noe that I am post-op I tried it again after I got used to only drinking decaf noncarbinated drinks and CL was still horrible. “Crystal Lite isn't the only brand that tastes great. I buy the Walmart brand also. I especially like the grape and cherry walmart brand (tastes just like COOLAID from when you were a kid). Some of the flavors have an aftertaste ( the orange/tangerine tastes like TANG). If you don't like the aftertaste of the aspertame, you can add about 1 cup of fruit juice to the 1/2 GALLON drink, and it totally disguises it, and gives you a little vitamin C, the sugar is so little, that it might have 5-10 calories in 8 oz of the mixed 1/2 gallon if you use the family pack. I don't especially like the raspberry ice, but I do like to mix the raspberry ice and lemonade (1 family packet each to make a gallon of punch). Mixing some of the different flavors also gives it a little more interest sometimes.
