“I used this product instead of the shakes provided by the surgeon. I must have a lactose, sorbitol and sucralose free diet, or I become ill. This product mixed well in the blender. I also used it in pureed soups. With the right seasonings, I was confident I was receiving all the necessary nutrition, plus creating something tolerable and tasty for my meals.”

“I bought the unflavored kind, I had a different brand of powder in chocolate and in vanilla and found after the surgery the smell of them made me sick. This powder is easy to mix and doesn't have a strong protein taste.”

“After trying a different brand of whey powder, I was skeptical. The associate at GNC said it tasted good and if I didnt like it, it could be returned with the receipt. Turns out it was pretty darn good when mixed with skim milk. I purchased the Vanilla and plan to go back to try the chocolate. ”

“Run the other way! If there was a choice worse than horrible I would have chosen it. I was using CytoSport brand whey and it was just delicious! I decided to try the GNC 100% Pro Whey and I about threw up! This concoction has the worst smell and an even worse aftertaste. It doesn't mix well with water or milk. It still tastes like someone put 3 bottles of vanilla extract into each scoop. Do NOT suffer with this product because there so many other products out there that are so much better! Any CytoSport Whey protein is divine. Also try Champion brand whey. I am hypoglycemic and a vegetarian and rely on protein shakes for my main source of protein. ”

“GNC whey protien is very tasty and is 22% protien and with 1% milk in a 8 oz glass you get 29% protien. Thios is very good for you and is rated very well and tastes very good. I reccomend the banana and mixed berry. Very tasty. and the price is good also. If you get the gold card from GNC you get 20% off also besides the other discounts you get there.”

“I used the chocolate before my surgery because i was protein deficient. Plus being a diabetic, this has 1 gram of sugar per serving. This is just my personal taste, but I mix it with diet peach ice tea and an ice cube and put it in my magic bullet blender and it comes out great. Goes down easy and 24 grams of protein. My surgeon let me take it again once I got onto stage 2. ”
