 “Dried peas have 6 grams of protein per 1/4 cup. Each one pound bag holds 4 1/2 cups, so there is about 108 grams of protein for $5. This is an excellent value, as well as an excellent source of protein. It's a green veggie, crunchy to the taste, slightly salted, requires no refrigeration, and is very portable--just put a little in a ziploc bag and take with you anywhere.”
