THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FENCE......

Was out doing my first Big grocery list yesterday and I can NOT believe how much of a chore it is finding SF pruducts!  Any store we went into in Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor MI, there were SF product found in almost every isle.  Even the BEST syrups only 1/3 less sugar could be found during my shopping excursion yesterday.   What is up with that?  Am I going to have to do most of my shopping in Health Food Stores from now on?  Or will I have to do regular visits over the boarder to pick up supplies?  That would not be great since I only live about 9 hrs away from the boarder...ugh.   I find it really revolting that our country doesn't INSIST on these products being READILY AVAILABLE, but complain about how much money spent on health care costs.

(Looking at all this from the OTHER SIDE OF THE FENCE NOW)

That's  my vent session for today........

    Hi

Now you know why everyone is asking "what should I buy when I am in the states for my surgery?" LOL

Hopefully, our stores will listen and bring in more SF products, or order onling, or if someone is going to the states, ask them to bring back some food items for you, just a thought

Sorry you are having such a hard time, good luck in your quest

I get a lot of stuff from The Low Carb Grocery in Toronto.  Their shipping costs are good and I get it in 2 days.

What kind of products are you looking for?
I try to eat whole, unprocessed foods as much as possible so I don't buy a lot of specialty products anymore.
I do buy SF Hersheys Chocolate Syrup when I go to the States and a few different flavours of Chrystal Light and lots of Greek Yogurt.
You can always save up your order and shop online from the Low Carb Grocery. I think if you order over $100.00 shipping is free. Keep in mind that liquid items like Davinci SF syrups cannot not be shipped in the winter for fear of the bottles freezing and breaking so stock up now.

Kimber71 posted yesterday (Page 2 almost at the bottom of page) that Metro store (the old A&P) has a new line that is SF by Walden Farms.  I hope this helps
