Is there room on the bench for me?

I had my surgery at Toronto East General on Wednesday and came home today. Feeling sore and definitely some nasty gas pains but it was awful nice to finally be able to take a shower and take a nap in my own bed. Took me a year and a half to reach this point and I am now looking forward to the next stages.
We just dusted off a spot for you....congratulations!  I agree there is no place like home and especially your own bed.  Sending you speedy recovery vibes~~~~~
    Congrats!

Congrats on the surgery and getting home today. I definitely agree about being home and sleeping in your own bed; there's nothing like it! Hope your healing goes well and it's a speedy recovery.
Welcome Karen!  The good news is that those of us on the bench keep getting smaller to make room for the new people, lol!  Hold on tight, you're in for the ride of your life!

Congrats!  I bet that was the longest - and in some ways the shortest - 18 months of your life.

Moselle - I think that bench doesn't have much dust on it.  There seem to be quite a few new benchers lately sliding over.  My time will be soon - I hope.

    Hello Karen,
Welcome to the bench, we are always making room for more losers with each pound lost. Sending positive healing vibes to you. Enjoy the first day of the rest of your life, but remember to take care of yourself and follow the advice you were given so you don't over do it and run into trouble.
