I was totally prepared for a 3 week stall. I just don't understand how in the 18 days since surgery I have not lost a single solitary lb. I was 277 day of surgery and I just weighed myself for the first time since surgery and weigh 277.

That is what happened to me. I am just starting week five. I lost 20 on  opti then nothing for three weeks, then 16 pounds in the next nine days.

It was explained to me that:

The liver shrinking diet uses up the quick energy stores in your liver. This releases water weight. The energy stores and water it holds must be gained back before your body seems to want to let go of weight.
    Have you lost inches?
Quite honestly I am not sure, the pants that didnt fit before surgery still dont fit, and the yoga pants feel the same.

its frustrating, for sure, but there are a bunch of reasons.
your body is trying to figure out what the hell is going on, and hanging on to stores of energy.
you could be retaining fluid from the surgery

this surgery has no choice but to work, especially in those first six months. I promise you, it'll work.

    HUGS!

I'm currently in the same position.  It's frustrating I know but it made me feel better to know I wasn't alone.

You had a rough start and did you not have a fair amount of IV fluids?  I am wondering if your body is still catching up with that
     I was on I.V for 4 days.

I'm  sure it will start moving again.  You've done really well so far and lost a bunch.  Hang in there.
I agree with the rest of the gang....hang on and it will happen!  Guaranteed.
