So I had an appt to meet with my doctor (surgeon doing my scope, not  RNY  surgeon)regarding an ulcer that i might have, I thought that i would be having the scope, but nope, that was just the appt with the surgeon to set a date to have the scope, ugh how frustrating. I should have known better but I didnt think there would be any point to meet with him before the scope, he asked 3 questions and then said ok lets book you for it.  so I now have to wait till the middle of July to have it done, i guess it gives me more time to try to heal the ulcer.... sorry.. that was my vent for the day haha 

blah all things take time.. just one more thing, a bump inthe road but all essential steps to your surgery...

That seems so strange, umm lets book an appointment so we can book and appointment. lol

C'mon people wake up!

That's not strange, nor inefficient. That's greed. They can bill OHIP for every minute spent with you.

Waiting a month and a half from Dr. to procedure is pretty darn fast, I think.  Many people wait far longer than that, so I think things are moving quite nicely for you.  PS don't worry about the scope - they're a piece of cake.

 I know it is frustrating but here is a good laugh.  My daughter found out she has a hole in heart.  She is 29 years old.  Her family doctor sent her to a cardiologist.  Well when she had the appointment he had not looked at her echocardiogram.  He was pulling stuff up off the internet and reading it to her about the hole in her heart.  He told her he would look at the ultrasound and call her.  That was over a month ago.  You have to wonder sometimes why appointments are made.  So I feel for you.
