I decided to take the kids to the Falls yesterday just to kill some time...
for dinner we went to the Rain forest Cafe...I asked for the manager as we were waiting. I explained that I have just had surgery (did not say what kind) I explained that there is NO WAY I can eat the size of portions that they offer. Since the weather was warm I could not keep it in the car because it would spoil.. is there any way I can eat off the child's menu?.... I was given the reply of... SURE NO PROBLEM

. He gave me his business card and told me to tell the server he had approved it.
We were seated and the server came over to take our orders I had explained that I spoke to the manager about the kids meal.. He replied Oh that was not necessary I would have done it no problem no sense wasting food if your not going to eat it all.

.. then the drink time came.. all they really have is high sugar stuff.. pop or juice... they dont normally keep decaf coffee on after the dinner rush. He offered to make me a fresh pot though. I asked for a tall glass of ice cubes and explained I was going to make iced coffee.... He did it for me in the back, brought me milk and sweetener to make it to taste..
I was so impressed with the service and willingness to help I left him a bid ole fat tip and I plan on writing a letter to management to express my gratitude!
so the next time you are on Clifton Hill make sure you check out the rain forest cafe its diwn by the bottom of the hill tucked back in an odd little corner
