Just got a fitbit yesterday and still figuring out how to use it. I know that I don't want to sleep with it. When do you clip it on for the day? When you leave the house or do you wear it at home. Is it only good for walking or will it register activities like biking?

Wear mine all day on my bra.  You'll need to enter activities other than steps manually.

I use mine in conjunction with MyFitness pal.  I put it on when I get out of bed in the morning and take it off about 9:00 at night.

I love having it.

enjoy

thanks for the replies...its such a neat gadget.  I'm taking skating lessons (I know off-season) and I wore it for that as well as a bike ride.  I wasn't sure if that would mess up the step count or if its smart enough just to count steps?  I'll figure it out as I go along.

I keep my fitbit attached to my bra strap so I literally put it on when I put my bra on and take it off when I get undressed for bed.

maximizes my count :)
