Really?
Why is that?
Im not complaining cause Im probably gonna have to self pay, just wondering why it is that why.
Aww that's terrible. I have read a number of gals had theirs covered by OHIP, maybe it depends on the surgeon sending in the documents?
it's a hit and a miss, some people are approved within days or weeks, I was denied and it took them 5 months to deny me with one word (borderline)..I appealed and after another 5 months going through the appeal process they reversed their decision.
I have posted on here twice in the last week the Appendix which the MOHLTC follows...rashes help your case, but are NOT what makes you a shoe in for a pannilectomy...also they have to be documented and treated by a physician..a person can't just have a ra**** has to be a medically necessary condition..and it must be reoccuring, so as embarassing as it might be for some (me)...get yourself to the doctor and they will diagnose and write a prescription for anti-fungal etc cream.
I truly believe as more and more individuals become approved for bariatric surgery, that the guidelines for approving OHIP covered procedures..may become togher.
prior to surgery 323lbs....4 years post-op maintaining between 108- 114 lb loss.
life is AMAZING when you continue on the right path~!. Use your surgeons gift to the fullest~!
