NSV keep coming
Well as I am now on 2 weeks vacation with nowhere to go my 18 yr old daughter and I are going to spend the 2 weeks exploring different trails around Guelph. This morning we decided to head off on the Silvercreek Trail. We ended up walking 7.1 km (4.44 mi according to MFP) in 2.5 hours. Stopped for 1/2 hour for lunch. I was amazed that yes, I was tired when we reached home but after a shower I felt great. Drank a litre of water on the walk and took protein snacks and lunch with us! Down 4 lbs this week so the exercise is paying off!
Hope everyone is enjoying the last long weekend of the summer!
Hi Lori, that is so amazing, sounds like you love to walk, great exercise.
I'm hoping to do the same after my surgery which is just 2 days away.

Thanks Cathy! I find it was the easiest form of exercise after surgery as I had really painful feet, ankles, knees and hips. Just start slow and it's amazing how quickly the energy returns.
Feel free to contact me any time. I'm still relatively new but can offer support if you need it!
Also feel free to friend me if you wish.
You'll do great! Where are you having your surgery done? I had mine in Guelph.
Take care
