After surgery?

For those of you that had your sugery done how much pain where u In coming out of surgery? Did you feel weird having your intestines moved around? I'm feeling a bit terrified now that I'm getting closer to surgery. Thanks

I came out and did not feel any pain. Was walking in the hallway that same evening and they only had to give me children's Tylenol. 

Don't expect the worst - and don't expect the best.... they will take great care of you! 

The only pain I had was gas, it was bad.

I wouldn't worry.

I am in hospital right now, had surgery at 8am yesterday, was walking hallways last night. I have had no pain only some discomfort getting outbid bed the first couple if times. You will do great. My nurses gave been 11's on a scale of 1-10

I am 3 weeks out.  I had surgery at 8am and by 8am the next morning i was off my IV and had my last dose of IV pain meds and walking the halls.  After that I took the Tylenol 3 with codeine just at night for about 3 nights just so I would sleep well. 

I walked off the stretcher and kept walking! Took the pain medicine offered the first few days so I could move better. There is one incision site that does give discomfort, so be aware. All in all not too bad at all!

Wonderful I am happy you guys are doing well. I feel so much better now.

after surgery.... walk walk walk.. it gets rid of the gas pains! makes you fart up a storm, well, it did with me :P LOL!!! 

I didn't feel weird and had almost no pain at all! You're gonna do great! Don't worry :D
