Hey everyone! I'm alive!!! I went through RNY yesterday (my first surgery EVER) and am currently laying in a hospitals bed with a lovely fairly quiet lady for a roomate. I cannot say enough about the staff here, so far every single person I've met was a peach! I was most nervous about the anesthetic but I don't even remember falling asleep ! Pain after surgery is better day 2 I've been on morphine and gravol all night , now something milder. Surgery went super well except for having high blood pressure through it. My pulse line did bleed all over the place after though (so embarrassing! They was blood everywhere) Nervous pre ops (especially my friend SmallIsland who coming up around the corner ) rest assured even if I was in some pain I came out smiling and I still am!! Now to pass some gas

Glad you are okay. Just remember sip and walk. The walking helps the gas
