Revisions in Ontario?

Hello!

I had RNY in 2001 (or 2000?) with Dr. Patrick Yau, went from 280 lbs to 149 at my lowest.  After the birth of my girls the weight began to creep back on and now I find myself back at 235 lbs.  At this point I feel so lost and cannot believe that I find myself here once again....the feeling of failure is immense and plagues me every time I move or see my reflection.

I am wondering if there are any surgeons in Ontario that do revisions?

Is this even possible?  What do I need to do?

Where can I find more information?

Has anyone else had a similar experience or has already undergone a revision?

Please, any and all information would be so greatly appreciated.  I simply don't where to start......

Thank you.

Yes.  As long as you are bmi of 40, you are good.

You follow the same process as everyone else and your Dixie applies through the bariatric registry.

Hi, I am having a revision from lapband to bypass. My GP had to send the referral through the registry. Not sure where you live but Dr. Hagen @ Humber has a lot of experience with revisions.

I know Patrick,  he assisted the famous!!!! Haha Dr Joffe in my banding.

Welcome,

Terri
