In Guelph, they recommend that you bring someone with you.  He might catch something that you didn't hear.

I think all centres encourage people to bring someone with them.  Helps to have loved ones understand the process so you are on the same page. Enjoy your orientation and congratulations!

Also does it really run 830-430? Or is that just a time frame ? Like will we be out sooner or can it be later? We have to drive 3-4 hours home after and it's getting darker sooner so I'm just wondering lol

We were booked 8:30-4:30 and were done by 3:00 even though there was lots of interactive discussion. You are encouraged to take someone with you. Perhaps he can take notes while u have their undivided attention!

Hi SOOOO excited for you!  I felt exactly the same as you when I got my call for orientation (Sep. 23-13)  I was over the moon!

I'm at HRRH, so mine will be different, but they do recommend you bring someone.  So it's great your hubby wants to go.  I went to mine alone, and was a little upset that I had to go alone (none of my support could make it), but it turned out fine.  I made a friend hehehe.

My orientation consisted of a power point presentation that they gave you a hard copy of.  Mine went from 9:00 - 12:00.

I brought a book to take notes but she pretty much just went over the power point.

I was in a room with about 20 people. Some people brought someone some people didn't.  It started and ended on time.

YAY for you!!! GL!
