Hello Everyone it has been awhile but I do come on and read posts!! I just wanted to say I am so please with my RNY I would do it over again in a heat beat. I Had surgery on March 5th 2013 my start weight was 312 yes a light weight but now I am under my goal weight of 190lbs I am 177lbs now .. It can be done people just follow the rules and you will do it ...

Congratulations Jason!!!!!!!! I have finished all my appointments and am just waiting to hear from them as my chart has now gone to rounds, hope to be starting my new journey soon. You are definitely an inspiration, thanks for the update. :)

I am waiting on my appointments now SW2, DSD3, and RN1, as well as the internist, Dr Glazer same day. (Nov 28) and then hope to get my surgery date soon after that. Your story, and so many others I have read on here are encouraging me and making feel like I have made the right choice. I am gearing my self up for the tough road ahead, and I am not kidding myself into thinking it'll be easy. I have a loving supportive wife who will be behind me all the way.

Referred September 2012, HHRH Orientation December 2012, Meet with surgeon January 2013, Meet with and testing with Dr Glazer May 2013, PATTS July 4, 2013 - 325lbs, Surgery HRRH August 1st, 2013 - 299lbs, second surgery late August 2nd to drain fluid, Discharged August 5th - 294lbs, reached 1/2 way to goal at 16 wks, MOM of three kids, married for 13 years :)
